Sales Executive - Part Time - Telesales

Location: Work from home
Salary: £8.50 per hour plus bonus
Employment Type: Self-Employed
Working Hours: 10 to 12 hours per week (over 4-5 days)
Core Hours: Between 9:30am - 11:30am and 2:30pm - 4:30pm


Our client is relaunching and is looking to recruit thier first Sales Executive to work alongside the owner. Your ultimate goal will be to place qualified Nursery staff (Nursery Nurses & Room Leaders) into nurseries within the South East region.

Your focus will be on lead generation, new business and account management. You will work closely with the owner who will supply you daily with new candidates to promote and sell to private day nurseries.

You will do this by sourcing your own leads through online directories and persuading Nursery Managers to sign up to our recruitment service. You will then build and manage client relationships by processing T&Cs, arranging interviews, exchanging interview feedback and securing placements.

Role Objectives

  • To promote our candidates with our unique service.
  • To place qualified Nursery professionals into permanent jobs within private day nurseries.
  • To arrange interviews, obtain interview feedback and confirm start dates with Nursery Managers.
  • To build and manage all client relationships.

Sales & Business Development

  • Cold calling nurseries to promote our service and sell candidates.
  • Sending and receiving T&Cs.
  • Forwarding CVs to Nurseries via email.
  • Following up on submitted CVs.
  • Arranging interviews with Nursery Managers.
  • Meeting targets for the number of people placed into jobs.
  • Providing weekly statistics for interviews, job offers and placements.

Customer Service

  • Building & maintaining good relationships with nurseries so that they keep using us.
  • Chasing overdue invoice payments.
  • Answering customer enquiries by phone and email.
  • Complaint handling – escalating when necessary.
